FA2 - Apply for family reunification as a child

Immigration office fee is DKK 8.575

1. Gather documentation:

• Copy of all pages of your passport – including all empty pages and the passport’s front and back cover
• Your Certificate of Personal Data (Birth Certificate), with an authorised translation to Danish or English
• Documentation of custody, with an authorised translation to Danish or English (only needed if your parent is seeking family reunification with a spouse/partner who isn’t your biological parent, or if your biological parents aren’t married)
• Copy of any residence permits you hold (countries other than Denmark)
• Documentation of any contact that you may have had with your parent in Denmark
• Documentation of a serious illness or disability (if applicable)
• Signed power of attorney (fill in child's information, sign as a parent)
