My name is Yann Siyong, commonly referred to as Mr. Siyong. I am 22 years old, currently in good health, physically fit, emotionally resilient, and possess an IELTS certificate to demonstrate my proficiency in English. I had the opportunity to undertake an 11-month internship program in Israel. Previously, my family and I resided and worked in Kandal province, an area characterized by flat, wet terrain encompassing rice fields and various agricultural plantations. The average elevation in the province does not exceed 10 meters above sea level. Additionally, the province is notable for being home to two significant rivers in the country, namely the Bassac and Mekong Rivers, where we engaged in agricultural and animal farming activities as part of our daily livelihood. I am currently a third-year student at Cambodia Agropreneur Business Academy, focusing on livestock studies. I selected this major due to the significant reliance of Cambodian farmers on the agricultural sector. However, my observations reveal that some farmers in the country persist in using traditional farming methods, encountering various challenges in their operations. Hence, my primary objective in pursuing this major is to delve into livestock science, specifically focusing on aspects such as animal nutrition, disease management, and effective problem-solving strategies to enhance my skill set. Recognizing the importance of being able to assist individuals in my community effectively, I aim to not only acquire theoretical knowledge but also gain practical experience from both academic pursuits and hands-on work environments.
