The Kingdom of Denmark is an affluent, Europe nation. Even though it is relatively small, it is known for having high productivity, especially in agriculture. It is also very environmentally friendly. My country, the Kingdom of Cambodia, is also relatively small but produces a lot of farm product, especially rice. However, productivity is not as good as it could be. Therefore, I want to learn from farmers, agriculturists, academics and also on their latest farming techniques. As agriculture is very important around in the world for family economy. Also depends on my studies in livestock and animal science. I am eager to immerse myself in Denmark’s advancements in sustainable cattle production. And I am confident that a livestock farming internship in Denmark will be a good fit for me as it will provide me with valuable practical skills, knowledge, and experience and exposure different cultural perspectives. I am particularly interested in learning about all aspects of cattle, poultry and pig farming. I am looking forward to participating in many cross-Cultural activities including learning the Danish language. Participating in this program will improve my skills, knowledge and experience in agriculture as well as society. My name is KHLOEM SARIN. I am twenty-eight years of age and come from a floating village in Cambodia. I want to express my deepest gratitude to the Cambodia Agropreneur Business Academy and Livestock Farm in Denmark for allowing me to participate in this program. I am a student in third-year at the Cambodia Agropreneur Business Academy (CABA), specializing in livestock.I hold an IELTS certificate as evidence of my English proficiency. And I am originally from Kompong Chhnang province but currently I am living in Battambang city. My two passions in life are agriculture and playing football. My goal in life is to have a farm of my own. I come from the farmer’s family, and we are growing the beans, corn and some of fruit tree, and some feed of cow, chicken and pig for small-scale livestock production. And in my homeland of Cambodia, I have gained practical experience through field work at university as well as working on research projects for international, Non-Government Organizations and businesses. I grew up in a center for disadvantaged children and youth. While this was tough at times, I learned a lot about living in a community. I also got to makes friends with people from different places like USA, Australia, Spain and New Zealand. I put myself through university partly on scholarships and partly by working part time in agriculture and partly through working in restaurants. I am a very driven person with a burning ambition to succeed in the field of agriculture. I thrive on teamwork in my studies, my work as well as in sport.
