After working on various jobs, I want to focus on agriculture - the sector that I believe is a strong base for many other industries because it provides the ingredients for all food and drinks – the basic needs of human beings. Vietnam has an advantage in agriculture thanks to our geography. It would be great to utilize this advantage and combine it with the method I learnt from Danish dairy farms. As I used to work in sales and e-commerce for beverage products, I decided that I must learn the manufacturing side by seeing the Danish way of raising cows, extracting milk and producing dairy products on a big scale. To expand further in the food industry, the Bord Bia Fellowship program by the Irish government is also my future motivation for higher education while practising knowledge and skills in the dairy industry in Denmark. Furthermore, joining the workforce of Denmark may help me learn the requirements of quality for food commodities in the Danish and European markets. It will be a valuable experience for me to run a future business exporting goods from Vietnam to these markets because there are many high-quality Vietnamese products disqualified from exporting to the E.U. because they do not match the E.U.’s rules. Music is the final factor affecting my decision to work abroad in Denmark. I love how people jam on the street, and hope that someday I have an opportunity to perform beside street musicians, or at least, watch them playing live on the street.

Thanks to one year and a half working on multiple tasks directly with the founders of a beverage manufacturer in Vietnam, I learnt a wide range of valuable knowledge and mindset including safety in manufacturing, warehouse management, sanitary food manufacturing process, etc. This knowledge and mindset in manufacturing are highly valuable for me to apply to the daily work of a dairy farm. My main purpose in working with your farm is to help the manager or farm owner decrease the quantity of their tasks while performing well on my own tasks so that we can still achieve the same or even better output results. To achieve this, I combine my daily manual work and the knowledge and skills gained from the vet school I’m currently studying at, the business school I graduated from and previous intellectual jobs. In conclusion, I’m an individual trying my best to perform better and bring solutions to the table. Besides work, I enjoy my free time listening to jazz songs and electronic mixtapes, playing piano and clarinet, and sometimes, training Arnis – a Filipino martial art using sticks.
