GENERAL AGRICULTURE
My main mortivation to work in Denmark is to develop my career in Agriculture by getting high level skills in animal production, diseases management and breeding. I have always reseached and seen that Denmark has advanced agricultural systems which I would be so much interested to learn from. While working in Denmark, I also plan to learn the culture and language of the people that will boost my intercultural competence. As I am almost finishing my diploma in Kenya, the advanced training I shall get in Denmark will no doubt place me on the right path to getting a fulfilling job. I am confident that Danish farms gives students the correct hands on experience to push forward their career and I expect to get exactly the same experience. At this point in my career , moving and working in Denmark feels like the best way to do it.
I was raised in a farm family, doing small scale crop production and rearing livestock including pigs, sheep, dairy cows and goats. I enjoyed seeing how these animals interacted while at the same time providing us with food in the form of milk and meat. This childhood experience sparked my interest in studying Agriculture. I ended up enrolling for a course in General Agriculture at Ramogi Institute of Advanced Technology. I enjoy the course and am deeply interested in establishing my own farm production upon graduation. I am a hardworking and dedicated student and work well under minimum supervision. I love handling different types of livestock on the farm, especially pigs and dairy cows. I am organized, punctual, have a great work ethic and am not afraid to take on new challenges or make my hands dirty.
