Agricultural Economics
My research shows that Denmark has some of the most advanced farms in the world producing swine, dairy, chicken, mink and many more. The mechanization and strong agricultural value chains in Denmark is something that I wish to learn and possibly replicate in my career. Moreover, I am interested in learning the farm tools, breeding and healthy handling of animals in a way that respects their rights and avoids contamination. Working together with colleagues from the rest of the world, including the Danes themselves, will help me improve my intercultural skills, learn new languages and be a real global citizen working to ensure the right of people to food through advanced agriculture
I am self-driven, goal-oriented, flexible and energetic. I diligently take up farm work as it is something I started on as a child born in a farming family. To me, animal health and hygiene comes first in production. I easily take instructions and embrace new challenges. I am generally easy to work with and consider teamwork as a good way to tackle immense work and still come out successful. I am friendly to both people and animals, gentle, great listener and not afraid of reaching out for help. Being self-aware, I easily form working friendships and get tasks completed in good time.
