I want to express my deepest gratitude to the Cambodia Agropreneur Business Academy and Livestock Farm in Denmark for allowing me to participate in this program. My name is Pheap Chanda, and I am a 25-year-old, third-year student at the Cambodia Agropreneur Business Academy (CABA), specializing in livestock. I am originally from Prey Veng province, located in the east-south of Cambodia, bordering Vietnam. However, I am currently based in Phnom Penh city. I come from a family of five members, and I am the eldest daughter. My parents are farmers, and we raise chickens and pigs for small-scale livestock production. My family has been raising animals since I was 15 years old and my daily routine is feeding, cleaning, and caring. I have always observed abnormal animals such as not eating enough, trying to stay away from the group, having diarrhea, or injuring any part of the body. Then I had to put it aside and notify my parents. At that time, they called a veterinarian to check, but in some cases, we tried to treat it by default. For example, if a pig does not eat much, we will take the boiled baby fish and mix it with porridge to feed it. Be careful, because when you add a lot of boiled fish, it will cause fever. This is just an example from my own experience like family farm. I hope I can get new experiences as well as modern farming on a farm in Denmark like an international farm. In addition, I will be able to be a part of the agricultural sector in Cambodia and I can help my country more develop this file. In the future, I want to be an expert in a local meat for business supplier. Overall, I want to open a small farm that provides meat with quality and, in other words, safe meat supply to my community. I want to have experience with livestock, such as raising animals from a Denmark farm. When I come back, I may complete my dream and share what I get this knowledge with others in some programs in Cambodia that relate with. I’m the person, friendly, kindly, high committed, flexible, self-motivation, hardworking, and likes to do new challenges for my skill. I'm also good at working with the group and ensuring that my work is complete with current. I like to learn new things. Especially on Livestock which in the one of part to help me to improve my knowledge. My favorite thing is I like to go to new places I have never been to It means I like to travel. It helps me to understand or get new experiences and feel good.
