Denmark has some of the most advanced animal production systems in the world including dairy, swine, horticulture, mink and more. I am interested to get more practical skills in animal production especially feeding, health surveillance, selection and breeding, sanitation and quality maintainance. Looking at the high level of mechanisation of agriculture in Denmark, I also wish to apply my skills in farm machinery operations which is something I love to do. Working in Denmark will really expose me to modern agricultural techniques that I need to create a successful venture upon completion of my training and return to Kenya.

I am self motivated, dedicated to work and easily follow instructions including taking on new challenges. I am not afraid to make my hands dirty and ensure teamwork. Since childhood, I have been drawn to handling animals including poultry, pigs and dairy that provided me a chance to understand animal production and health. I am confident that this opportunity will be a great step in my desire to practice agricultural entrepreneurship and create employment for fellow young people upon return to Kenya.
