AGRICULTURE PRODUCTION AND MANAGEMENT
I am fairly skilled in various aspects regarding animal industry as both an agriculture student and as a person who hails from a family deeply rooted in agriculture. Skills such as feed formulations, Taking care of lactating swine plus the piglets and milk harvesting and preservations in the dairy sector among others. Denmark will provide me an opportunity to practice upon this and also learn newer skills.
My name is Sarah, and I come from a large, vibrant family of 10 siblings. Growing up in such a big family taught me teamwork, responsibility, and hard work. My family has always been involved in agriculture, which has significantly shaped who I am today. I am particularly passionate about livestock farming, and I find great joy in rearing cattle, pigs, goats, and poultry. At home, I practice agriculture mainly through animal husbandry. I keep a variety of livestock, including cattle, pigs, poultry, and goats. Each of these animals plays a crucial role in my farm’s operations, providing food, income, and valuable by-products like manure, which helps maintain a sustainable farming system. I take great care in ensuring their health, nutrition, and overall well-being, as they are the backbone of my agricultural work. What truly inspired me to take up this opportunity was seeing how animal farming can transform lives. It not only feeds families but also creates employment and contributes to the economy. I wanted to be part of something impactful, and livestock farming allows me to do just that.
